ABOUT ME
Dr. Richard Singleton, raised in Washington state, graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. He then attended and graduated with honors with a 4 year Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He practiced for short periods in Vermont and West Virginia before moving to Cape Cod in 1985, and has practiced on the Cape since then.
Dr. Singleton's passionate interest in health and wellness has always helped him create very busy, referral based, Chiropractic practices. This has allowed him to mentor many young Chiropractic doctors starting out in the field. It has also allowed him to incorporate into his practices other health related interests throughout the years. He has owned and operated physical therapy offices, weight loss offices, and even owned a health food store.
He was a member of the International Chiropractic Knights of the Round Table for many years, which allowed him to lecture and teach for many years on health and wellness.
He has been married for 35 years to his best friend and partner in life, Jo-ann (Jody). They have four wonderful children, and 1 grandson.
Although Dr. Singleton is "semi-retired" now, and spends some of his time in Florida, he loves what he does and will continue to help his patients with their health and wellness.
EXPERIENCE
Dr. Richard R Singleton is a Chiropractic Specialist in Dennis, Massachusetts. He graduated with honors from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. Dr. Singleton has had many years of diverse experience, especially in Chiropractic, Nutrition, Weight Loss, and Cold Laser Therapy. Dr. Singleton owned and operated Singleton Chiropractic offices on Cape Cod since 1985. He also owned and operated Deer Crossing Physical Therapy for several years on Cape Cod. In 2018, Singleton Chiropractic offices merged with Centerville Chiropractic to form what is now Cape Chiropractic Group. Dr. Singleton and his wife Jody have opened several Ideal Protein Weight Loss centers on the Cape since 2011. They currently own and operate two Weight Loss and Health centers, one in Orleans, MA, and one in Fort Myers, FL.
